ESL Course: Haitian Creole to English
In the month of September we began our ESL course to help out the Haitian Community integrate into the community through language. At Green Hands we focus more on just learning the language but also learning about the skills needed to be successful in America.

Community Service event sponsored by Jemcare and Green Hands World
On September 12, 2023 Dodor's Services reached out to the local community offering services and much needed information. Partnering with Jemcare, people came in droves to learn about what was available to them including NYC ID cards, food stamps, Medicaid, housing and were also supplied school supplies.
There was also a seminar regarding how to better integrate with their new communities, how to access childcare with the help of 911Daycare, and Marks Home Care for adults and seniors. They also received instruction on how to be ready for the workforce.
The next community service events will be on September 28, 2023.
The seminar covered topics on immigration, job-readiness, apartment hunting, community integration, training courses offered for Home Health Aide ( HHA) & Security Guards, and other legal issues covered by guests attorney. At the end we held a Q&A Session listening to our audiences needs and trying to help in any way possible.
